About Me
Hello, and welcome to my website. I put this site together as a way to offer my services as a writer and editor, and to share a piece of my creative soul with my little corner of the world. I'm thrilled you've stopped by!
A little about me . . .
I've always been an artist with my earliest interests being drawing and music. From there, I became a dancer, fell in love with literature, and started on the adventurous path that lead me to where I am today.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with minors in marketing and communications. And, in just ten short weeks, I will walk across the stage to accept my Master of Arts Degree in English and Creative Writing. I view myself as a life-long learner and hope to inspire others to be the same--not just through higher education, but through the creative arts. I view life as a canvas and I intend to paint every inch of it--and you should, too!

I reside in southwest Ohio with my husband, our two teen sons, and our five dogs.

What I'm Currently Reading
I am currently in the process of reading A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. I am a major Thrones fan and plan to read the entire series from start to finish. That's right . . . thousands and thousands of pages about wolves, lions, and whites. It's phenomenal!

Check back in about a decade to see if I've finished it.

I'm also reading The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood and 1984 by George Orwell.
These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things
Authors: George R. R. Martin, J. K. Rowling, Ransom Riggs, and Nicholas Sparks

Best Quote That Describes Me
" . . . a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep it's edge.
That's why I read so much, Jon Snow."

What Gives Me Inspiration
This is an excellent question that can sometimes be difficult to answer because the things that inspire me today may not be the things that inspire me tomorrow.

More often than not, my inspiration comes from a place deep within me that I can only access by tapping into certain moods and emotions. My desire to create art doesn't come from my ability to do something well, or from the hopes of being famous. I create art because I have to--it's who I am, and to ignore a calling would be death to my own soul.
