But Now I See

Only after a peaceful night’s

rest wrapped in the warm comforts

of Him, am I able to appreciate the

world in all its grandeur—

A golden sky,

fiery and warm,

marking the long hours

between dusk and dawn;

Tickles of a cool spring rain

as it cleanses my skin,

and awakens my soul from a

deep, restful slumber;

A harmonious sparrow

as he sings to me, His uplifting

and harmonious song;

The sweet, sweet aroma

of wild blossoms tall

in the meadow, a flowery sea;

And the delicious berries I bring

to my lips, as I replenish my

body with the fruit of His earth—

Now that I’m awakened and

enveloped by His love can I truly

see all of these things, to which

I was blind before.
