When the Sun grows tired

Of shining light upon the Earth,

She quiets down, dims her light,

And settles into a deep slumber--

Hopeful that rest will

Reignite her fiery glow.

Still in the night,

With his silvery shield,

He watches quietly as she sleeps.

And to her surprise upon

Waking next morn, sees

He's covered her with snow.
